I've enjoyed Sew Modern Monday since early in my blog-reading days. I also really enjoy reading Megan's blog over at Canoe Ridge Creations because she's around my age, and so I feel like we might be closer in stages of life than with other bloggers who are moms [although I enjoy those ladies too!].
So, my finish!
It started as this drawing, based on one of my favorite Terrain prints, Footpath, and scaled down to fit my needs as a wall hanging for the SewHappyGeek Table Runner/Wall Hanging Swap.
And it ended up as this...
I wanted some really simple quilting since the piecing is pretty intense, so I just went with straight-line quilting inside all the big squares and then every other smaller square. Then there's a couple diagonal lines in there too!
I really like the back too, in all its simplicity. Hope my partner does too, as I'm dropping it in the mail tomorrow.
REALLY cool! That's one of my fav Terrain patterns too - you are too clever! ;-)
